Light Steel Framing for New Homes

Everything you need to know about light steel framing and why it is ideally suited to housing and multi-storey, multi-occupancy residential buildings for the modern age. Andrew Way, Associate Director at the Steel Construction Institute (SCI) is a structural engineer with more than 25 years in the steel construction industry, and specialises in the in the design of cold-formed steel systems and light steel framing. He was the lead author of the National Light-gauge Steelwork Specification (NLSS), and will provide expert knowledge on how this document can be easily integrated into contract documentation, ensuring acceptable standards for both manufacturing and installing light-gauge steel frame buildings are met.
